It is a pleasure to have you visit our membership application page as you consider the opportunity of joining and becoming a registered hypnotherapist of the New Zealand Hypnotherapists Registration Board Inc.

The NZHRB was established and incorporated in June 2003 with the purpose of keeping and maintaining a register of professional Hypnotherapists, and to promote and encourage a high standard of professional education, conduct and discipline among Hypnotherapists. The NZHRB is the first (and only independent) Hypnotherapists Registration Board established to represent the hypnotherapy profession in New Zealand.

The NZHRB is represented on, and is a member of, the New Zealand Hypnotherapy Federation, which is the umbrella organisation for the profession in this country.

3 EASY STEPS TO BECOMING REGISTERED


Step 1: Read the Constitution, Rules and Ethics

Step 2: Complete the Application Pack

• Complete all the required forms.
• Write cheque payable to The NZHRB Inc:

    • Registration Fee (one off fee) $35
    • Annual Practicing Certification Fee $60
plus $15 pro-rata per quarter for applications received within 6 months prior to the end of financial year, where applicable.

Step 3: Send in your application

• To avoid delays, please refer to the checklist provided to ensure that all required documentations are included.


Upon receipt of all the relevant documentation the Executive Board will consider your application and you will be notified of the outcome. When your application is accepted, your NZHRB Registration Certificate and Annual Practicing Certificate will be posted to you.

Yellow Pages advertising campaign covering many areas of New Zealand is underway which will assist prospective clients to find a Registered Hypnotherapist in their area. There is also a listing of current Registered Hypnotherapists on the NZHRB web site which includes your contact details.
